Weeks 29, 30

I don't have a lot to say about the pregnancy. I feel very big and tired all of the time, but despite that, I got a job anyway. I got a job substituting at a day care. Two good things about that, I will make some money, and I don't have to work every day:) yeah. I have also learned that much time spent in a really hot car can be a hazardous to my health. I went to Pocatello for my friend Sara's wedding. The wedding went really smoothly, and it was very pretty, there was a great turn out, lots of gifts, and lots of fun. Sara was really really beautiful with her hair, makeup, the vail we made, and dress that my mom fitted to her, and the weather was perfect, nice and sunny, too sunny. I had no A/C in my car, the hot wind in my face when I had the windows down, I think made it even hotter, not cooler. I felt like I was going to pass out while driving. That's not a good thing at any time, but it is even worse when you have your only child with you and your pregnant. So now that Hazen has his tools again, he promptly fixed our A/C when I got back, right after the clutch. Oh did I forget to mention that I drove a manual transmission with no clutch all the way from Pocatello to Orem. Not that that isn't a stress in and of its self, I had my dear little Tessa over heating in the back seat. The funny, ironic, what have you, thing is its been rather cold since.
Tessa and I went to visit my friend Tamara and her daughter Abby on Wednesday at Thanksgiving Point. Tessa, Tamara, and Abby thought it was cold, but I was quite comfortable. We had lots of fun at the petting zoo and it was just nice to visit with a good friend. Wednesday I had my first sub job. I was very hard! I had 3 infants and 2 toddlers for the first hour or so. I did have a little help at that time, just enough to inform me what was supossed to happen. Nothing happened like it was supossed to though. I ended up with two sick infants and the schedules of the other two suffered because of it. In the end I had a not very nice older child that I couldn't handle the smell of being pregnant and all. That was for only an hour, thank heavens.
Friday I got to watch my sister's two younger children while they celebrated their anniversary. We had to stay inside most of the time because of the cold rainy weather. If only it had been like this the previous weekend when I almost died in the heat. Saturday wasn't too bad it was a little chilly in the morning but I took all three kids to the ponds by UVSC to feed the ducks by myself, (Very dumb pregnant or not, don't take two toddlers and a 4 year old to the pond by yourself ever). Sunday night I started to feel a little sick. I hope that I am just sick, and not sick because of being pregnant. I really really don't want to feel like I did in the beginning now at the end. I hope it stays warm (not cold, and not hot) for a while longer, but if it doesn't that is ok because I have A/C now! :)

Weeks 27, 28

As you all may have read on the main blog, the last two weeks have been very crazy. We are moved down to Orem. I don't miss our apt. at all. It was small, and smelled weird to me, but I do miss having our own place. I don't feel at home at Hazen's mom's home yet so I tend to not eat when and what I need to, because of this I have be quite lethargic, and have been a little sick here and there. I all so seem to be allergic to her (Hazen's mom's) laundry detergent, so I guess we won't be saving any money on detergent this summer.

Hazen working off the rent already.

Pregnancy wise moving happens to be really hard! Even with moving, Makayla and I have been well. I have been trying to help Hazen out as much as possible. I haven't had time to pay any attention to Makayla, when I finally did sit down I got really nervous because I couldn't feel her moving at all! Well that all changed when we went to bed. I couldn't get to sleep for like two hours she was wiggling so much. I don't think she could get any more comfortable then I ever can. It doesn't help that I have not been able to sleep under any covers the last week or two, unless it's really really cool in the room. Oh, and for the first time last week my legs, and ankles swelled up so bad it hurt to walk around, but I couldn't just sit and put my feet up because,
of the two year old that loves to play, run, and get in to every thing,

that I've been blessed with.

Weeks 25, 26

The last two weeks have been fun. I've felt like I was the same size for three or four months now, I finally noticed that my belly really is growing. I can't so much see below my belly any more and I sure can't bend or move as well. I have also been feeling really good, tired, but good the last little while. Well because of this I have be come a lot less worried about what I eat and smell, hence I have had a couple of sleepless night and a few hard afternoons. I still feel victorious because in spite of all of that, I have not thrown up, oh yeah maybe once at church, that wasn't good. Aside from that I can now look down at my belly and see Makayla moving around. I had forgotten that you could see your belly wiggling this soon, I still have three months left. I'm actually excited that I still have three months left because my friend that borrowed my maternity clothes just sent me the rest of them back and now I have pants to wear. Getting dressed in the morning is fun instead of a drag.

I went to a really nice bridle shower
last weekend for my friend Sara,

and was reminded of how little I am.
I was the shortest person there, but I still had the biggest belly. I guess that's not a bad thing since I am growing a baby. I was still very uncomfortable, not because of my size, just because I couldn't stand up and site back down with ease like you can when you don't have a a baby inside you. Either way it was fun. Tessa had fun at grandma's house, and the car drive. Well she didn't like the part when she had to pee on the ground. I got a ride to Pocatello to the bridal shower, and there aren't very many places to stop, so when Tessa had to go I didn't want to risk it. I had Sarah (my ride, another friend of the other bride to be) pull over, Tessa peed on the ground after some crying. Aah the joys of potty training.

Week 23 24

Last week was OK, I have had to put up with some acid reflux from being sick. I also hadn't been given a chance to get better, so I took Sunday off from being a mom, and got in some quality nap time. It must have worked because I feel better. Good things about this week: Makayla is kicking a lot harder, I am guessing that that is a good thing. Tessa still loves helping out. She's doing really well with potty training, and still likes babies a lot. From the looks of it, no jealousy problems coming up in the not too far future. Last, but not least by any means, it has been really nice the last couple of days. Tessa and I spent most of the day outside today! That does a body and mind some good :)

Week 22

I was going to post my last blog post last week, but I was learning some things about the camera, and the new computer set up, so it got delayed.

This week went like lightning. Saturday was my friend Tamara's baby's one year birthday party. Where I apparently picked up some sort of bug. Sunday was Easter, and Easter wagons day.
Monday, family night. Tuesday, visiting teaching (going and coming). Wednesday, a big to do about nothing renewal of our housing contracts night (That's the night I really started to feel sick). Thursday, My loving husband took me to the theater. We saw the Golden Dragon Acrobats, very interesting, and very weird. Friday, we all stayed home being sick. Saturday we where suppose to clean the church, go to the Temple, and go to some singing group where we would have had free dinner, but I was sick (I don't get a sick day to get better, so it takes me a while to get over things). Sunday, wow its Sunday! There was church ofcourse, and then my sister came down to see us, it was awesome! So my week felt as long as it took me to write this. Oh yeah, this post is supposed to be about my pregnancy. Well the week went too fast to really think about it much, I guess that means its going good. Well because I was sick I have had to take stuff so that I wouldn't throw up, and I was extra tired again. You know all those fond memories of the first trimester. Yeah, that part wasn't fun.

Weeks 20, 21

The last two weeks have been really fun. Hazen had spring break so we spent time visiting both grandparents. Right in the middle we stopped to see my friend Tamara, who I haven't seen in for ever.

I got to meet her daughter for the first time, she just turned one.

Yes Tessa is small, we all know, you can't get rats out of mice.

At Grandma Sellers we had an early Easter for Tessa. She loved coloring the eggs, but after about an hour standing there with Tessa, Makayla started kicking me really hard, so I had to try to convince Tessa that she had been coloring eggs long enough.

Even with Makayla's kicking making me sick to my stomach,
Makayla's foot

it has been extra fun this Easter. Tessa has been able to find eggs and candy all on her own. I think of Makayla, and how fun it will be to see Tessa showing Makayla where all the eggs, and candy are hidden next year. Even thou Makayla will not be old enough to care, it should still be fun.

I have been telling every one that we are having a girl, and that her name is Makayla Annette. I have been informed quite a lot that Makayla is a very common name. This would explain the welcoming we have received in our choice of her name, or at least every one has been kind enough to lie and tell us they like it.

Makayla from the back

Aside from that I have felt very well, without drugs, for most of the last two weeks. The smell of our apartment, backyard cookouts, or any smoke for that matter, and Makayla kicking if I am not laying down, still makes me sick. I do better with drugs, but it has not been a necessity to have them. Yeah!! I am happy because that means I don't have to be as tired all the time.

Week 19

We had the ultrasound this week as most of you know. I went in thinking this baby is a girl, but some things changed my mind. First the baby's heart rate was lower then Tessa's, the baby was very stubborn and shy in contrast to Tessa's relaxed and ready to be seen by the world. Sadly I got very very exited for a boy,

just to be surprised with a girl. We are all very excited to have a very healthy baby, all though we missed the boy window, Tessa will have a built in girl friend (well at least we hope they will be friends). So congrats to all of you that voted girl , you will have bragging rights for ever. We had to give her a name right a way so that I could be excited again about a having a girl, but I thought it would be fun to see what name you think we liked.
The names we like are Makayla, Natalie, and Sariah

I was going to put a poll up so that you could guess, but I guess Hazen was just kidding about Sariah, and I was told that I can't have Natalie, Sooo... we bring to you
